Do I need a permit for a deck?+
Usually, once the deck is above a certain height or attached to the house. We confirm with your city and pull it.
Composite or cedar?+
Composite costs more up front and needs far less maintenance. Cedar is warmer looking and cheaper, but wants a finish every couple of years.
Can you build a covered deck?+
Yes — covers, pergolas and full roofed structures with lighting and heat.
How long does a deck take?+
Most decks are one to three weeks of construction after permitting.
